Once you’ve purchased or received your custom Tally Add-On, you will be provided with a download link or a .TCP (Tally Compliant Product) file by the iSaral team. Download the TCP file to your computer.
Step 2: Place the Add-On in the Correct Folder
Copy the .TCP file to the Tally Add-Ons folder. By default, this folder is located within your Tally installation directory.
The path typically looks like this: C:\Tally.ERP9\Addons or C:\TallyPrime\Addons.
If the “Addons” folder does not exist, you can create one.
Step 3: Configure the Add-On in Tally
- Open Tally ERP 9 or TallyPrime on your system.
- Navigate to Gateway of Tally > F12: Configuration > Product & Features.
- Select Manage Local TDLs (F4).
- In the “Manage Local TDLs” screen, set “Load TDLs on Startup” to Yes.
- Under List of TDL Files to Preload on Startup, add the path of the .TCP file that you copied to the Add-Ons folder (e.g., C:\Tally.ERP9\Addons\YourAddOn.TCP).
- Press Enter to save.
